Michelle studied at Dundee University before joining Innes Johnston as a trainee. Since qualifying in 2016 she has become a key member of the court department and is based in our Kirkcaldy office. Michelle focusses primarily on Family Law including divorce; separation; residence and child contact disputes; and protective measures including interdicts, exclusion orders and non-harassment orders. Michelle also specialises in applications under the Adults with Incapacity legislation including guardianship and intervention orders. She appears regularly in local courts and has a sympathetic but firm approach to resolving difficult issues.
