Leasing.jpg

Are you a Landlord?

Are you aware of the new changes being introduced on the 1st December 2017?

A new tenancy is coming into effect! After 1st December no longer will a new tenant sign a Scottish Short Assured Tenancy they will now be signing a Private Residential Tenancy. What does this mean in lay terms? – This new tenancy is intended to improve security of tenure for tenants whilst also providing safeguards for landlords.

There are lots of changes afoot within Residential Property Management and in turn a lot of these will affect Landlords and their legal obligations.

Make sure you know the rules!
