Ann Oliver

Partner

Born and bred in Kirkcaldy and university educated in Aberdeen after completing a traineeship in Dunfermline and working for some time in Leven, Ann joined Innes Johnston at Partner level in 2006. Ann is the firm’s Senior Partner and is based in our brand new Kirkcaldy office.

Mark Alder

Partner

Mark Alder is the Court Partner working from the Leven office. He joined the firm in May 2014 having previously worked for a number of years as a Court Solicitor with a firm in Perth. Mark is an experienced Court Solicitor and has worked in a number of different jurisdictions.

Jemma Forbes

Partner

Jemma joined Innes Johnston in 2010 after completing her traineeship in Edinburgh. Jemma was quickly promoted to Partner in our Glenrothes Office which she manages along with her own caseload. Jemma has experience in dealing with a wide range of private client and court matters.

Claire Forbes

Partner

Claire joined Innes Johnston as a Paralegal in 2006 and whilst working with the firm she went on to complete her law degree. Claire then completed her traineeship with the firm in 2016 and is now a Partner, based in our Leven Office. Claire excelled in her traineeship on account of her previous experience in the legal sector.

Jacqueline Mitchell

Consultant

Jacqueline has over twenty years’ experience as a Solicitor. She studied at the University of Dundee and trained and worked in Edinburgh before coming to work in Fife. Jacqueline became a Partner of the firm in 2016 before becoming a Consultant in 2024 and is currently based in our Leven office.

Sharron Sutherland

Partner

Sharron joined Innes Johnston in 1991, originally working in our Leven office and is now based in the firm’s Glenrothes office as a Partner of the firm. Having undertaken Specialist Paralegal qualifications in both Family Law and Residential Conveyancing, Sharron went on to complete her law degree part-time and subsequently her Diploma in Professional Legal Practice in 2020, passing both with distinction.

Zoe Stevenson

Senior Associate

Zoe joined Innes Johnston as a Senior Associate in 2025, bringing a wealth of legal expertise from her experience in court and residential property matters. Zoe is based in our Leven office and primarily assists with residential property transactions and related property law.

Felicity Bruce

Associate

Felicity joined the firm in 2019 as a trainee following the completion of her law degree at the University of Dundee and Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Edinburgh, before becoming an Associate of the firm in 2023. Felicity deals primarily in residential conveyancing, private client and is a Notary Public.

Alice first joined Innes Johnston in 2019 as a Legal Assistant whilst studying towards her Law Degree. After completing her Law Degree and Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Edinburgh, she undertook her traineeship with Innes Johnston and qualified as a solicitor in June 2025. Alice is based in our Court Department with a particular focus on all Family Law matters.

Yvonne McLennan

Paralegal

Yvonne joined Innes Johnston following the merger with McKinnon & Co., Solicitors, Glenrothes in November, 2016. Yvonne is a Paralegal based in our Leven office and has over 25 years’ experience dealing with residential conveyancing.

Susan Wardle

Paralegal

Susan joined Innes Johnston in 2004. Susan initially worked in our Kirkcaldy office as a Legal Secretary. Following completion of a Specialist Paralegal qualification in Residential Conveyancing in 2007 Susan re-located to our Glenrothes office and is now an Accredited Paralegal.

Shirley Main

Paralegal

Shirley joined Innes Johnston in 1992 and has worked in the firm’s Glenrothes office since then. She undertook a Specialist Paralegal qualification in Residential Conveyancing Practice in 1997 and is now an Accredited Paralegal. With over 30 years working in our conveyancing department, Shirley brings a wealth of knowledge and experience.

Lynne joined Innes Johnston in September 2022 after many years with another local Law firm. Lynne is a Paralegal based in our Kirkcaldy office and deals with residential conveyancing.

Rebecca Gray

Paralegal

Having graduated with a degree in Law & Business BA(Hons) in 2020, Rebecca began working in our Immigration department in January 2021. She is based in the Glenrothes branch and primarily assists with Family Visas and Citizenship applications.

Jacqui McAdam

Estate Agency Manager

Jacqui joined Innes Johnston as the Estate Agency Manager in February 2025. With over 38 years of Estate Agency and New Home Sales experience throughout Fife, Jacqui has a wealth of knowledge and is committed to providing our clients with the very best advice and care.

Heather Mellon

Senior Legal Assistant

Heather joined Innes Johnston in Kirkcaldy as a cashroom assistant in September 2006 after spending some time at another local firm.
